Ville Platte, Capitol of Swamp Pop Music, will open the door to its unique museum depicting legends of the genre, including musical paraphernalia, etc. later this year.
The third panel of the "Spirit of Ville Platte" murals depicts the ancient sport of jousting—an annual event known as "Running of the Tournoi" which is the last event of the Cotton Festival held during the month of October.
